Meet Shawn Conti, Pueblo Criminal and Family Law Attorney

Background

Shawn is an experienced negotiator, caregiver and trial lawyer. Prior to practicing law, Shawn spent several years negotiating commercial leases on behalf of institutional investors, publicly traded real estate investment trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.

Shawn also worked as an around-the-clock caregiver for a middle-aged man with autism named Henry. Shawn assisted Henry in all aspects of his life, from ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and medication to accompanying him on a gorilla trekking expedition in Uganda.

After stints as a caregiver and commercial real estate dealmaker, Shawn felt a calling to be a trial lawyer. Shawn joined the Pueblo County District Attorney’s Office as a Deputy District Attorney and has tried over 40 jury trials.

Continuing his mission of using the law to help people, Shawn joined Martin Conti Law to advocate on behalf of his clients and their families.

Shawn is active in the local community and serves on the Board of Pueblo Diversified Industries (PDI), a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to bettering the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Shawn is also on the committee redeveloping Keating Elementary School.

Shawn has taken and passed the bar exam in 3 different states and is licensed in California, Colorado, and Florida.

When Shawn is not in the office you could find him weight training, practicing yoga, skiing, or hiking. Fun Fact: Shawn was named “Student of the Month” in his yoga class. You can read his story here: https://bellaprana.com/blog/shawn-contis-yoga-story/
